My Favorite Film

"My Family and Other Animals" is my favorite film, the best I have ever seen. The book was pretty fantastic, but I like the movie even better (and that's saying something, because I am a book person).

I first saw it in the spring of my junior year of high school and it set the color pallet for my summer. It's a wonderful resource for realigning your color pallet. First of all, literal colors. Second, humor. Third, pace of life.

I mean doesn't this just make you want to go eat dinner in the water with your family? It does me.
I'd like to have this experience someday.
